Two weeks before my wedding, I went to the team of B Sherrie in dire need of venue decor after the lady I initially booked had a family emergency and stopped communicating with me. After explaining my situation, Brittney agreed to take on this last minute task. Feeling like a weight was lifted, but still dealing with a few other last minute mishaps, I was near a mini meltdown. Before I could even go there, Brittney stated firmly, “Now is not the time for that; you have to put your big girl panties on!” It was at that moment that I knew I was in good hands. Literally the day after speaking with her, I’m scrolling down my Instagram timeline, & I see B Sherrie at my venue! Talk about on it! She didn’t even tell me she were going; she just went. All I could do was look up & thank God for sending me to the right people. A few days before the wedding, I was finally able to meet Brittney in person. Having such a beautiful personalty, I could have talked with her for hours. One thing she asked was what was most important for me on wedding day. The music! I stressed how I didn’t want to waste a lot of time taking pictures; I wanted to actually enjoy my reception along with everyone else. I wanted to hear all of my songs, lol. On wedding day, as it was time to walk down the aisle, Brittney whispered to me, “When you get to the front, pause and take it all in.” I did just that. I looked around and saw the BEAUTIFUL job they had done. I saw the details, & it far exceeded my expectations. They flipped the venue, and it was even more beautiful than the ceremony set up. I don’t even know how that was possible. And during my reception, Brittney made sure I quickly got the little things out of the way so I could enjoy my music. I’m sorry that this is an essay, but I couldn’t just say a few words on such a splendid job well done. Random people have literally messaged me on social media to say how beautiful my wedding was. We’ve been featured on multiple wedding pages. This woman is amazing! She was very professional and worked well with my other vendors. Everything just flowed. Brian and I were engaged for roughly 1 1/2 years before our wedding. We knew how expensive weddings were and wanted to prepare ourselves as best we could. At the beginning of the planning process, we literary went through three different venues. There are so many beautiful ideas and options that I was in completely over my head. Once I reached my breaking point, I decided maybe it was best we hired an event planner. Of course I referred to social media where I stubbled upon a few planners. One in particular really caught my eye and I had a really good feeling about it. After meeting with Brittany , I then thought this was the best decision I could possibly make with planning my wedding. After a few meetings and countless phone calls and text messages, Brian and I were ecstatic about the decision we made in hiring her team. Not only did we have a wedding planner, this woman became our mentor. We were so grateful to have them work with us do diligently. In the end, because we hired them we experienced the best wedding of our dreams We were so happy to watch our wedding fall in place but so sad to know our talks would soon come to an end. This was by far the best experience I’ve ever had because of B. Sherrie! Thank you [B Sherrie] for becoming our extended happy.

Brittney and her “dream team” at B. Sherrie Events made our special day so incredibly magical and memorable!  Planning a wedding in less than 7 months’ time is no small feat.  To complicate matters further, I was a destination bride – my now husband and I live in Maryland.  But Brittney was up for the challenge!  She was always available and definitely lessened all of my planning-related stress.
Working with her was a dream!  We had to have some tough conversations about budget, but she was ultimately able to deliver exactly what we wanted and more.  8 months later and my guests are still raving about our wedding!  Brittney and her team executed flawlessly.  We had some unique logistical challenges given the venue that we chose, but the B. Sherrie team was able to make the event flow effortlessly.
The ceremony was intimate, candlelit perfection.  The dinner was the kind of wow-inducing beautiful that gives me chills when I remember.  The reception and second line were so much fun and I will always look back and smile!

I was initially hesitant about working with a planner.  I did not think that I needed one LOL!  The joke would have most certainly been on me.  B. Sherrie was necessary.  Non-negotiatiable.  An absolute must.  I am so happy I chose her, and you will be too!

I live in New York, and had a bridal shower scheduled in six weeks in New Orleans.  I looked online for a decorator, and spoke with one person who recommended Brittney Frye of B Sherrie Events.  The first day I spoke with her via phone, she immediately went straight to the venue and examined the room to be decorated so that she could give me an accurate quote at the outset. I explained that the shower was Kentucky Derby themed.  Brittney just went with it.  She sent me horse-themed regalia for my approval.  Her ideas were fresh, innovative, and new.  We corresponded via text primarily.  I never had to wait for a reply no matter the hour.  She is extremely responsive, and kept lines of communication open constantly during the weeks up to the event.  She also worked directly with the venue interfacing to get everything done.  My guest list numbers kept fluctuating, and she just went along with the flow.  Brittney is very patient and extremely professional.

When I got to New Orleans the day before the shower, as we exited the airport, I texted her for dinner recommendations (not her job).  She responded with a list.  The day of the shower, I panicked and asked her for a recommendation for a make-up artist (again, not her job).  She recommended the person who actually the makeup for her OWN wedding.

Brittney believes in the personal touch.  Her go-to slogan is “the WOW factor,” and boy does she ever bring that “WOW factor.”  When I got to the venue, the staff told me that there was so much foot traffic because of employees tripping over each other to marvel at her incredible room décor.  The manager at the venue told me that she did many events like this, but she had never seen anything like Brittney’s vision.  Brittney brings the “WOW factor” without going over the top.  She has elegant taste.I was blown away by her attention to detail.  Everything she did was simply beautiful.

We conducted our business exclusively via long distance and I never once felt that I was ignored or marginalized.  She ensured that I felt seen.  I highly recommend her.  My shower guests, upon arrival, had two simultaneous reactions:  “WOW!”  and “WHO DID THIS?!!!”  I saw quite a few exchanging business contact info with her.

You cannot go wrong once choosing Brittney for any project.  She is trustworthy, extremely responsive, and will elevate your project with her punctilious attention to detail and her extraordinary ability to work with your vision and preferences to create a memorable occasion that I can GUARANTEE that your guests will be marveling at and talking about for some time to come.

I can’t say enough about these planners. From the first conversation to the last package dropped off after the wedding, they were a dream to work with. We lived in New Orleans for years, and wanted a planner who was local and could really tap into the vibe of the city. We also wanted to work with as many minority vendors as possible. Our vision was executed perfectly, and Brittney was always there to encourage, give an opinion, or just remind me to have fun!

I enjoyed my party so much and was breath taken when I saw the decor. Brittney literally helped me plan this party in only two and a half weeks so I wasn’t sure if it could be pulled off. Well she did the damn thing! Her referrals for the cake, table decorations, catering and photography were all on point and all the vendors did a phenomenal job. I felt like royalty. Everyone complimented the decor. She turned an ordinary spot into my over the top vision. This is hands down the best 40 Shades of Blue theme I have ever seen. It was definitely memorable and she literally took a small budget and made it pop. That’s what I’m talking about!! I can’t wait to see the final pictures. Thank you for bringing my vision to life.
